I strongly urge you not to consider gastric bypass. I have two parents who have undergone gastric bypass, and while they are both in good health they have to receive vitamin B shots and the foods thay can eat have been severly curtailed & they are both gaining back the weight! The surgery doesn't guarantee permanant weight loss. It doesn't make the necessary changes in lifestyle that are required for permanent weight loss. I wish I knew the cure but as someone who just finished gaining back the 100# I lost 2 years ago on a diet, I'm still as lost as you are. I am pinning many hopes on this as my weight continues to increase and I am no longer successful at losing weight, as I once was! Many of your testimonials sound so much like me that I am hopeful that my results will be like theirs! Who knows, if it works maybe I will learn how to do it and use it in the future to help the pre-surgical patients and obstetric patients that I work with in my profession.
